Food Event March 1, 2007


March is Woman History month and Macy's Cellar is celebrating it by featuring Women chefs on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1:PM. It is Free. Samples of the food will be available.
I will be demonstrating on March 1, The Art of Hungarian Hand Stretched Strudel Sweet and Savory, a Potato Sausage and Winter Green Strudel with Sorrel Pesto and a Roasted Pear and Dried Cherry Strudel with Maple Cream.

I actually made this strudel with a bunch of friends. It was delicious!! We were able to freeze it too, and it still tastes great when we reheat it!

This was great with some braised red cabbage on the side. Yum Yum.
